  • Mick Bolto is a professional company director and business consultant with extensive strategic, commercial, and executive experience across diverse industries and international markets (Australasia, Europe, USA, Asia). Originally trained as a lawyer with leadership roles in a major international firm (including Managing Partner in London, Singapore, Jakarta), Mick transitioned his focus to technology, innovation, corporate advisory, and private equity. He possesses deep expertise in corporate governance, strategic planning, transaction execution, and navigating complex commercial and regulatory landscapes.

Key achievements include leading operations (750+ staff, 1500+ contractors) post-startup to stabilize and optimize production, executing major shutdowns, managing COVID crisis response, transforming HSE systems from project to operator mode, leading the offshore operations team through HUC and start-up, and providing executive-level advisory across critical business functions.

    • Senior Management Roles (ConocoPhillips): Held diverse leadership positions including managing integrated operations support (engineering, projects, maintenance, PSM) for Bayu-Undan/Darwin LNG, leading global Operations Excellence reviews, and managing operations for both Darwin LNG plant and the Bayu-Undan offshore field, consistently meeting or exceeding production and safety targets, and executing major projects/shutdowns.

    • Board Leadership (Safer Together, ACEPT): Served as Board President/Operator Co-Chair and Advisory Board Chair/Deputy Chair for key industry bodies, driving improved service delivery, governance, and cost discipline.
